The following is a summary of the reports provided and actions taken at the January 9, 2009 New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors meeting. Please feel free to contact Paul Griffin, EVP, with any comments.
Secretary's Report – Paul Griffin
The NHAR staff was introduced.
It was MOVED, SECONDED and VOTED to approve the Agenda as presented.
It was MOVED, SECONDED and VOTED to approve the minutes of October 1, 2008 as mailed/distributed.
President’s Report – Paul Sargeant
It was MOVED, SECONDED and VOTED to ratify the Executive Committee Actions of September 10, and October 15, 2008 per minutes, as mailed/distributed.
President-Elect Report – Monika McGillicuddy
Monika asked Dave Liberatore to present the motion. It was MOVED, SECONDED and VOTED to form the New Hampshire REALTORS® Housing Foundation, based on the concept and structure of the Maine REALTORS® Affordable Housing Fund, as contained in the document, “New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® Housing Foundation Task Force Report.”
Committee Reports – Paul Sargeant
Legal – Roger Turcotte
- It was MOVED and VOTED to approve the proposed revisions to the NHAR Standard Forms and other recommendations as per the Legal Committee report as presented in the document “FORMS WORKING GROUP 2008.” Roger asked for a round of applause for the Legal Committee for all their work under Mary Beth Rudolph on forms during 2008. A question regarding the Buyer Facilitator Relationship form was brought forward. Discussion was held and an explanation was given.
- It was MOVED and VOTED to accept the Ombudsmen Procedures Proposal, as contained in the document “OMBUDSMEN PROCEDURES – NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.”
- Mary Beth Rudolph gave a reminder of the Professional Standards Workshop on February 11-12.

Paul Griffin noted that Nicole gave birth to a baby boy last night.
It was MOVED, SECONDED and VOTED to adjourn at 10:48 a.m.
